Key Responsibilities:
Industry & Sector Tracking:
- Monitor changes in key industries and sectors relevant to the firm’s practice areas.
- Identify emerging trends, regulatory developments, and growth opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with different practice groups and business development teams to understand research needs.
- Provide tailored insights for pitches, proposals, and client presentations.
Data Management & Accuracy:
- Maintain updated and accurate databases of market intelligence, competitor analysis, and client information.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across internal systems.
Competitive Intelligence:
- Analyze competitor law firms’ strategies, pricing models, and service offerings.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership decision-making.
Research Tools & Reporting:
- Utilize legal and business research platforms (e.g., LexisNexis, Bloomberg Law, Thomson Reuters).
- Prepare concise reports, summaries, and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Law, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3–6 years of experience in market research, preferably in professional services or law firms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in research tools and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
