Description:
The ISG Research Analyst supports dedicated research studies aligned to ITO and ecosystem verticals such as AWS, Google, Oracle and technology implementation in industries such as public sector, manufacturing, automotive and more.
The candidate is expected to develop expertise in structured analysis on technological trends, IT service providers capabilities, enterprise adoption patterns, and digital transformation themes. He/ She needs to learn and conduct secondary research on specific companies for benchmarking assessment, create service provider profiles and track competitive landscape
Another key dimension of the role will be to get trained and work with databases on outsourcing contracts and allied areas. Develop excel and analytical skills. The candidate will have strong English writing and speaking skills.
Responsibilities:
- Work on engagements that include service provider profile preparation, technology, and outsourcing trends.
- Support lead analysts in comparative analysis of service providers using defined frameworks and criteria.
- Gather information from public sources such as company websites, annual reports, white papers, and industry publications.
- Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across research outputs; willingness to learn GPT tools is must.
- Follow defined research methodologies, templates, and quality standards.
- Incorporate feedback and continuously improve research outputs with an ability to write clear analytical storylines.
- Work on data analysis and charting, investigating data from different lens and draw meaningful insights.
Skills Required:
- Ability to interpret information from raw data and provide insights
- Must have excellent teamwork skills as well as be self-directed.
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule, collaborating with both the US and European regions. Might occasionally require long work hours.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and structured thinking.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a fast‑paced research environment.
- Basic knowledge of data visualization concepts is a plus.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Economics, or related fields
- MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is a plus (not mandatory)
