Role Definition
Investment Banking will conduct financial and market research to support deal execution and client advisory activities. The role involves building financial models, analysing industry trends, and preparing research materials to assist in mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and other corporate finance transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills to deliver high-quality insights that drive informed investment decisions.

Tasks & Activities
1. Financial Analysis & Modelling
- Build detailed financial models to forecast company performance and valuation.
- Conduct DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses.
- Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess valuation under different assumptions.
- Review and interpret financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
- Support preparation of valuation summaries and internal memos.
2. Office Operations, Facility Management and Vendor Management
- Analyse industry structure, growth drivers, and competitive positioning.
- Monitor sector trends, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic indicators.
- Prepare sector-specific reports and company profiles.
- Identify potential investment or acquisition targets based on market research.
- Benchmark key players within an industry on financial and operational metrics.
3. Mail, Courier & Communication Management
- Gather data from financial databases
- Extract financial metrics and market data from company filings, investor presentations, and annual reports.
- Validate and reconcile data accuracy across multiple sources.
- Organize and maintain data libraries and sector databases for internal use.
- Analyse data patterns to identify key insights and anomalies.
4. Finance & Administrative Support
- Assist in preparing pitch books, teasers, and information memorandums.
- Participate in due diligence by reviewing target company information and performance.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (clients, advisors, auditors).
- Support transaction structuring and valuation discussions.
- Track deal progress and maintain transaction documentation.
5. Event management and Coordination
- Prepare concise research reports, briefing notes, and executive summaries.
- Create visual materials—charts, tables, and graphs—for presentations.
- Summarize research findings for client deliverables and internal meetings.
- Ensure documentation accuracy and adherence to compliance standards.
- Maintain archives of reports, models, and transaction documents for future reference.

Education
