*Summary:*
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) Social Science Teacher to join our esteemed educational institution in Rajkot Morbi. This role is vital in shaping young minds by delivering high-quality instruction in Social Science subjects, including History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics, as per the curriculum guidelines. The ideal candidate will not only possess a strong academic foundation but also demonstrate enthusiasm for fostering critical thinking, civic awareness, and a lifelong love for learning among students in the 6th to 10th grade. As a key member of our teaching team, you will contribute to creating an engaging, inclusive, and academically rigorous classroom environment that supports holistic student development and aligns with national education standards.
*Responsibilities:*
- Deliver structured, curriculum-aligned lessons in Social Science subjects for Classes VI to X.
- Develop and implement lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessment tools that promote active learning and conceptual understanding.
- Conduct regular classroom assessments, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate student records.
- Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and civic responsibility through interactive and inquiry-based teaching methods.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, department heads, and school leadership to align teaching strategies with institutional goals.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher interactions, and school events to support student engagement and community involvement.
- Stay updated with the latest educational trends, curriculum changes, and pedagogical innovations in the field of Social Science education.
- Support students’ academic and personal development through mentorship and guidance.
*Requirements:*
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Science (B.A. in History, Geography, Political Science, or Economics) with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) qualification from a recognized university.
- Valid teaching certification as per NCERT and State Education Board standards.
- Strong command of the English and Gujarati languages (written and spoken) for effective classroom communication.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and a commitment to student-centered learning.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and multimedia resources for lesson delivery and classroom management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and adapt to diverse learning needs.
- Freshers with strong academic records and teaching practice during B.Ed. are encouraged to apply.
