*Responsibilities* - Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons in Social Science subjects (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics) for grades 6–10.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate diverse teaching methodologies, including project-based learning, discussions, and multimedia resources.
- Assess student performance through regular quizzes, assignments, presentations, and examinations; provide timely and constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in parent-teacher meetings and academic reviews.
- Collaborate with department heads and fellow teachers to align teaching strategies with school-wide educational goals.
- Promote active learning by integrating real-world examples, current events, and local cultural contexts into classroom discussions.
- Support extracurricular activities such as debates, model United Nations, and social science fairs.
- Stay updated with national and state-level curriculum changes and pedagogical advancements in Social Science education.
Requirements

- Post Graduate degree in Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, or Economics) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. qualification with specialization in Social Science or a related field.
- 2–3 years of proven teaching experience in a school setting, preferably in the K–10 education segment.
- Strong command of the English and regional language(s) for effective classroom communication.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and learning management systems for lesson delivery and student engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to create inclusive, student-centered classrooms that encourage inquiry, critical thinking, and collaboration.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to school policies and ethical teaching standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to evolving educational demands.
*Preferred Qualifications*
- Experience with CBSE, ICSE, or state board curricula.
- Familiarity with formative and summative assessment strategies.
- Interest in curriculum enrichment and student mentoring programs.
