*Responsibilities:*
- Deliver structured and interactive lessons in Sanskrit language, grammar, literature, and cultural studies for students in grades 6–10.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/state board) and educational standards.
- Assess student performance through regular tests, assignments, projects, and oral examinations; provide timely feedback for improvement.
- Incorporate multimedia, storytelling, and traditional teaching aids to enhance student engagement and comprehension.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, respect for linguistic heritage, and active participation.
- Collaborate with the academic team to align teaching strategies, share resources, and support co-curricular activities related to Sanskrit.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher interactions, and professional development workshops.
- Contribute to the development of school-level cultural events, such as Sanskrit Day, recitation competitions, and poetry readings.
Requirements
*Requirements:*
- Bachelor’s degree in Sanskrit (Graduate) with a minimum of 55% marks.
- B.Ed. in Sanskrit or General Education with a specialization in Sanskrit (mandatory).
- 2–3 years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably in a recognized educational institution.
- Strong command of Sanskrit language, including reading, writing, speaking, and translation skills.
- Proficiency in teaching Sanskrit grammar (Vyakarana), literature (Puranas, Epics, Classical Texts), and phonetics (Shuddha Shabda).
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles and age groups.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and learning management systems (LMS) is advantageous.
- Passion for teaching, cultural preservation, and student development.
