*Summary:*
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Post-Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Economics to join our esteemed educational institution in Rajkot Morbi. *Responsibilities:*
- Deliver structured and engaging lessons in Economics as per the NCERT and state board curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessment tools aligned with academic standards and learning outcomes.
- Conduct regular classroom assessments, evaluations, and provide timely feedback to students.
- Monitor student progress and implement remedial strategies for underperforming learners.
- Organize and conduct periodic mock tests, project work, and presentations to enhance conceptual understanding.
- Participate in departmental meetings, staff development sessions, and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary activities and promote holistic student development.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and academic reports.
- Stay updated with current economic trends and incorporate real-world examples into classroom teaching.
- Support co-curricular activities such as debates, quizzes, and economics clubs.
*Requirements:*
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (B.A. Hons.) and Post-Graduate Degree in Economics (M.A. in Economics).
- B.Ed. qualification (or eligibility to pursue it) with a specialization in Economics.
- Strong conceptual understanding of microeconomics, macroeconomics, Indian economy, and economic policies.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and multimedia for interactive teaching (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Classroom, LMS).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and motivate students to achieve academic excellence.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, student-centric educational environment.
- Familiarity with CBSE/State Board syllabi and examination patterns.
- Valid teaching certification as per the state’s teacher eligibility criteria (e.g., TET, NET, or equivalent).
- Freshers with strong academic records and teaching internship experience are encouraged to apply.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- Experience in teaching at the secondary level (Class IX–XII) is advantageous.
- Knowledge of project-based learning and competency-based assessment frameworks.
