Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Hub In-Charge (HI) at Shadowfax, based in Kolkata, specifically in the Baghajatin and Kestopur/Baguiati areas. The primary responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end hub operations, managing rider backups, coordinating daily B2C deliveries, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of shipments, and maintaining operational smoothness to meet organizational objectives. The role also focuses on maintaining safety and compliance measures within the hub environment and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in B2C logistics operations, coupled with a strong understanding of delivery workflows.
- Proven ability to manage rider operations, including scheduling, coordination, and support as a backup.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to ensure smooth hub operations and on-time deliveries.
- Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges efficiently.
- Knowledge or prior experience in logistics or transportation management is an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant field experience preferred.
