*Responsibilities:*
- Deliver comprehensive and interactive lessons in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Coding (including Python, Scratch, or similar), and Information Technology for Grades 9 and 10.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum and school-specific learning objectives.
- Integrate real-world applications of AI and coding into classroom activities to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Utilize digital tools and platforms (e.g., LMS, coding environments, AI simulation tools) to support blended and project-based learning.
- Assess student performance through assignments, projects, quizzes, and exams, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Mentor students in coding competitions, science fairs, and technology projects to promote innovation and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty to align technology education with broader academic goals and interdisciplinary initiatives.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in AI, programming, and educational technology to continuously improve teaching practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and classroom activities.
*Requirements:*
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in computer science, IT, or technology education at the secondary level.
- Proven expertise in teaching Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts, including machine learning basics, AI ethics, and applications.
- Strong proficiency in coding languages such as Python, Scratch, JavaScript, or similar, with practical teaching experience.
- Experience in designing and delivering project-based learning (PBL) modules in coding and IT.
- Familiarity with school curricula (e.g., CBSE, ICSE, or state board) for Grades 9 and 10.
- Ability to use educational technology tools (e.g., Google Classroom, Moodle, coding platforms like Replit or Scratch) effectively.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for student development and a commitment to fostering curiosity and digital citizenship.
