KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Growth Blueprinting: Orchestrating the comprehensive Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and marketing strategies for distribution channels, focusing entirely on multiplying subscription revenues.
Full-Funnel Campaign Management: Designing and deploying integrated B2B and B2C campaigns across linear TV, digital, print, radio, and OOH to build top-of-funnel demand and maximize bottom-funnel viewer conversions.
Data Synthesis & BARC Analytics: Aggregating and translating large data pools, competitive tracking matrices, and BARC data into sharp, actionable marketing initiatives deployed straight onto the ground.
Affiliate & Partner Alliances: Partnering with distribution leadership, affiliate networks, and cross-functional channel sales squads to build marketing loops and drive partner-led viewer acquisition.
MarTech & Automation Integration: Exploring and scaling technology setups, automated consumer communication, and Generative AI frameworks to seamlessly solve affiliate and customer pain points.
Budget Optimization & Financial Control: Operating with a rigid, ROI-led approach to media budget management—managing end-to-end finance pipelines, cost-tracking operations, and vendor pipelines.
Publicity & Corporate Visibility: Overseeing macro strategic publicity campaigns and regional communication frameworks to maximize on-ground visibility for distribution initiatives.
Requirements
Experience: 8–9+ years of progressive experience built at the intersection of media distribution, performance marketing, or brand strategy.
Education: MBA or Post-Graduate degree from a premier Tier-1 Business School is mandatory.
Industry Background: Heavy, prior experience operating within a Leading Television Network, OTT Ecosystem, Broadcast Media House, or Premium Media Buying Agency.
Analytical Prowess: Deep familiarity with television rating frameworks (BARC databases), conversion tracking mechanics, and modern data-analytics suites.
Core Competency: A proven track record of managing linear TV, Value-Added Services (VAS), or IPTV categories, backed by strong media planning fundamentals.
Attributes: High experimentation hunger, an entrepreneurial spirit focused on problem-solving, and the executive range to handle high-value cross-functional stakeholders.
