KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
360° IP Execution: Leading the logistics and rollout for editorial IPs, including televised debates, cultural festivals, and award ceremonies.
Digital-First Growth: Partnering with regional influencers, "Meme Creators," and YouTube journalists to ensure News18's content travels beyond the TV screen.
Vendor & Partner Management: Acting as the primary point of contact for event agencies, design boutiques, and production houses to ensure 100% execution accuracy.
Brand Recall Initiatives: Executing high-frequency brand campaigns across OOH (Out-of-Home), digital, and broadcast to improve the channel’s GRPs (Gross Rating Points).
Cross-Functional Synergy: Working at the intersection of Sales (to monetize IPs) and Editorial (to ensure content integrity).
Requirements
IDEAL PROFILE:
The Regional Specialist: You have a deep understanding of the Tamil Nadu consumer psyche. You know what resonates in Chennai versus what works in Coimbatore.
The Multitasker: 3–6 years of experience in brand activations, events, or media marketing. You are comfortable managing multiple timelines without breaking a sweat.
Tamil Linguist: You can spot a typo in a Tamil ad copy and can negotiate fluently with local vendors and influencers.
Agency/Broadcaster Background: Previous experience with a regional broadcaster (Sun TV, Vijay TV, Zee Tamil) or a top-tier activation agency is a massive plus.
FUNCTION: Marketing – Brand & IP Execution
LANGUAGE: Fluent Tamil (Read/Write/Speak) is mandatory
