KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Oversight: Managing multiple projects simultaneously across development and production phases; evaluating on-set workflows and identifying efficiency bottlenecks.
Financial Architecture: Independently negotiating and analyzing budgets for Hindi scripted content; mastering cost reports with an expert eye for current market rates and production costs.
Payment & Asset Governance: Tracking Above-the-Line (ATL) expenses, processing purchase orders, and managing development/package fees through sophisticated studio systems.
Cross-Functional Synergy: Partnering with Creative, Business Affairs, Legal, Finance, VFX, and Post-Production to ensure a unified approach to every "Original" on the slate.
Compliance & Milestones: Monitoring Daily Production Reports (DPRs), call sheets, and major milestones to ensure 100% adherence to studio policies and industry regulations.
Market Intelligence: Maintaining an updated pulse on local industry policies, guilds, and government requirements within the Indian entertainment ecosystem.
Requirements
The Production Veteran: 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Producer, Production Manager, or Line Producer within the Indian film/OTT industry.
The Budgeting Expert: 4+ years of specialized experience in budgeting, scheduling, and cost reporting for long-form content.
Technical Proficiency: High mastery of Excel and a deep understanding of digital media workflows and post-production cycles.
The Influencer: Proven ability to negotiate with high-profile Executive Producers and Line Producers to optimize production execution plans.
Creative Sensitivity: Experience working directly with artists and creative professionals, understanding the nuances of the creative process while maintaining studio discipline.
