- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the cosmetics and personal care space across retail, e-commerce, and B2B channels.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, beauty salons, and online marketplaces.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategy and identify emerging trends in the cosmetics industry.
- Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitch decks to potential partners and clients.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and sales teams to align business development efforts with brand positioning and product launches.
- Track and report on KPIs such as conversion rates, pipeline growth, deal closure timelines, and partner performance.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
- Negotiate and close partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with company goals and contractual terms.
- Monitor market feedback and customer insights to recommend improvements in product offerings and distribution strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the cosmetics, beauty, FMCG, or personal care industry.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and partnership targets.
- Strong understanding of the Indian cosmetics market, including regional consumer preferences and distribution channels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho), Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis platforms.
- Networking ability and a proactive approach to building relationships across diverse business segments.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Gujarat and neighboring states for client meetings and events.
