Job Title: Representative Business Services
Location: Shadnagar (Balanagar)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with expertise in SAP and vendor management to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- SAP Management: Utilize SAP for procurement processes, including purchase orders, invoicing, and vendor performance tracking.
- Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and assess vendor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as production, finance, and logistics to ensure seamless operations.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, vendor performance, and cost savings.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Budget Management: Oversee the procurement budget, ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Supplier Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and supplier performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management/MBA/Graduation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in SAP and other procurement software.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM) is preferred.
