The Reporting Specialist is responsible for producing high-quality client reporting packs—both commoditised and customised—while ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and audit requirements. This role acts as a guardian of the “golden source” for reporting and engages directly with service owner teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and relevance.
Key Responsibilities
Client Reporting
- Produce and deliver standardised and bespoke client reporting packs across service domains.
- Ensure reports are tailored to client expectations while maintaining consistency with enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with service owners to validate content and ensure relevance.
Regulatory & Audit Alignment
- Ensure all reporting outputs comply with applicable regulatory frameworks
- Maintain audit readiness by documenting controls, reconciliations, and validation steps.
- Complete regulatory reporting checklists and ensure full sign-off for Tier 1 and Tier 2 reports
Golden Source Stewardship
- Act as a custodian of the “golden source” for reporting data, ensuring integrity and traceability.
- Partner with data stewards and technology teams to maintain data lineage and metadata
- Resolve data quality issues in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage directly with service owner teams to gather inputs, clarify metrics, and validate reporting logic.
- Provide commentary and insights to support executive and client-facing reporting packs.
- Support the Reporting Lead in continuous improvement initiatives and reporting automation.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in financial, regulatory, or client reporting within banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of data governance, reporting controls, and audit requirements.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL Foundation or higher certification.
- Experience with enterprise reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, ServiceNow).
- Familiarity with third-party risk management and intercompany agreements.
