Job Description
You will be responsible for supporting repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and overhaul activities for drilling and oilfield equipment at the Mumbai repair facility. The role requires the ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, troubleshoot equipment faults, perform repairs, and support routine maintenance programs while ensuring compliance with company quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Repair and/or rebuild NOV equipment at the NOV- Mumbai Workshop and any assigned job as directed by the management.
- Perform assembly and disassembly of Drilling equipment
- Conduct pre-testing and assist with final testing of equipment
- Inspect components for wear, damage, and compliance with specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all NOV policies, procedures, and health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Complete required documentation and inspection records
- Perform Related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering required.
- 5-10 years in Oil & Gas Industry, preferably NOV Drilling Equipment.
- Familiarity with hydraulic/pneumatic components, NOV equipment, AC/DC Motors, and electrical circuits.
- Physical fitness for a hands-on workshop setting.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, high discipline, ability to work independently, and a strong focus on safety.
- Knowledge on Microsoft office suite.
- Ability to troubleshoot electromechanical equipment and interpret technical diagrams.
