Position: Rental Agent / Counter Clerk (Customer Service & Operations)
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $7-$11/hr
Location: Remote
Commitment: 2 Weeks
Role Responsibilities
- Handle rental transactions and interpret booking details to create realistic workflow scenarios
- Manage customer interactions related to rentals, bookings, and service requests
- Develop structured use cases based on real-world rental desk and counter operations
- Process documentation, agreements, and transaction records accurately
- Review and validate outputs for correctness, completeness, and customer experience quality
- Support upselling of rental services, add-ons, and upgrades
- Collaborate with teams to improve rental workflows and service efficiency
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree optional
- Experience in car rental, equipment rental, property rental desks, leasing counters, or service centers
- Strong understanding of rental workflows, booking processes, and transaction handling
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and customer queries efficiently
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with booking or reservation systems
- Strong customer handling and upselling skills
- Knowledge of rental agreements and documentation processes
- Ability to manage high-volume transactions and service requests
- Familiarity with CRM or service management tools
