Manager, Operations
The Manager, Operations is responsible for the day-to-day success of all assigned projects and personnel. Core responsibilities include assisting in the selection of project personnel for deployment monitoring performance and compliance, and identifying opportunities to improve quality and efficiency. The Manager, Operations will support and develop new client relationships, maintain current ones, and contribute to sales and business development efforts.
Essential Job Functions:
- Communicates with the RENFROE Home Office, operations management and client management to provide needed services and to keep project personnel up to date and informed
- Travels to project locations to meet with clients, prospective clients, operations management and project personnel
- Participates in management, staff and client meeting
- Works with Personnel to coordinate deployments and assists in identifying personnel who meet project requirements for deployment
- Reviews production reports, project employee evaluations and client reports to track performance
- Monitors project staff for accuracy in reporting and compliance with both client and RENFROE policies
- Handles performance and eligibility issues, working with clients, Project Managers and HR
- Works with the Training department, Project Managers and Project Trainers to address training needs
- Develops and mentors project staff, communicates clear performance expectations and provides performance feedback
- Assists in developing surveys to encourage feedback from field employees, monitors survey results and makes suggestions to improve processes and procedures
- Assists in planning, facilitating and participating in RENFROE conferences and training events
- Participates in recruiting efforts
- Participates in client sales/account management settings
- Maintains the confidentiality of RENFROE, client and personnel information
- Participates in special projects and completes other duties as assigned
Required Experience/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years management experience
- Minimum 10 years claims experience; catastrophe claims experience preferred
- Familiarity with AI-related tools, e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude
- Communicates clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Effective problem resolution and decision-making skills using sound judgment, experience and facts
- Experience using data analytics to make continual improvements
- Experience managing performance, holding others accountable and providing feedback
- Self-motivated and manages time and work effectively through prioritization and organization
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish good relationships with clients, project staff and Home Office employees
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% or more by car and airplane, including potential short-notice deployment to catastrophe locations

- Fast-paced, changing, multi-tasking environment
- Extended and varying work schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays; minimum 40–50 hours per week
- Valid driver’s license required
