About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Renewals Specialist to own the renewals and collections engine at Jurisphere.ai. This role sits at the intersection of revenue operations, client coordination, and finance. You will ensure that contracts are renewed on time, invoices are tracked and collected efficiently, and there is clear visibility into revenue flows.
This is a high-ownership role in a fast-moving LegalTech startup. You will work closely with founders and client-facing teams to ensure nothing slips through the cracks. If you are organised, persistent, and comfortable managing both numbers and client communication, this role will suit you well.
What You’ll Do
Renewals & Revenue Management
- Own the end-to-end renewals process, including tracking contract timelines, initiating renewal conversations, and ensuring timely closures.
- Maintain a clear view of upcoming renewals, at-risk accounts, and revenue retention metrics.
- Work closely with client success and business teams to align on renewal strategy and follow-ups.
Collections & Accounts Receivable
- Track receivables and follow up on outstanding invoices in a structured and professional manner.
- Manage billing workflows and reconciliation across tools such as Razorpay and Zoho Books.
- Maintain regular reporting on collections status, aging invoices, and pending dues to ensure leadership visibility.
Client & Vendor Coordination
- Act as a key point of coordination for billing-related client communication, ensuring clarity on invoices, payments, and contract terms.
- Manage vendor invoices and ensure timely processing, approvals, and reconciliation.
- Maintain organised records of contracts, billing schedules, and renewal timelines.
Process & Reporting
- Maintain clean trackers and dashboards across renewals and finance operations.
- Identify gaps in workflows and improve processes to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy.
- Prepare periodic reports for founders covering renewals, collections performance, and revenue visibility.
What We’re Looking For
You have experience handling renewals, billing, collections, or operations, and you understand how important consistency and follow-through are in revenue functions. You are organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple parallel workflows without losing track of details.
Must Haves
- 2–3 years of experience in renewals, revenue operations, finance operations, or similar roles, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment.
- Hands-on experience with invoicing, collections, or contract renewals.
- Strong working knowledge of Zoho CRM and Zoho Books.
- Familiarity with Razorpay or similar payment tools.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, especially for tracking and reporting.
- Clear and professional communication skills, particularly when handling payment follow-ups and client coordination.
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with subscription or SaaS billing models.
- Exposure to LegalTech or high-growth startup environments.
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Slack, or HubSpot.
- Experience working closely with client success or sales teams on renewals.
