⚡ Energy Engineer – AI Evaluation Specialist | Part-Time | Remote
💰 $30 – $40 per hour
An exciting opportunity for Energy Engineers to work at the intersection of renewable energy systems and AI model evaluation. This role focuses on validating energy system designs and assessing AI models used in sustainable technology solutions.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and validate renewable energy system designs (PV, storage, heat pumps, EVSE)
- Evaluate AI models using rubric-based assessments and technical prompts
- Model energy production, load profiles, and system efficiency
- Identify structural, electrical, and permitting constraints
- Assess cross-system interactions such as PV-to-storage charging and EV load spikes
- Document findings and provide clear technical insights
🎯 Requirements
✔️ Experience in energy engineering or renewable energy modeling
✔️ Knowledge of PV systems, energy storage, heat pumps, and EV charging infrastructure
✔️ Experience with AI model evaluation, prompt creation, or RLHF annotation
✔️ Strong analytical and communication skills
✔️ Ability to work independently in a remote environment
💡 Ideal candidates have experience in multi-technology energy system design, constructibility analysis, and AI training or evaluation projects.
