About the role

Job Description:We are looking for a talented and motivated New College Graduate Hardware Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, hands-on project experience, and a passion for hardware design and development. As a hardware engineer, you will work on various aspects of hardware development, including design, testing, and troubleshooting.Key Responsibilities:* Assist in the design and development of hardware systems, components, and products.* Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of hardware components.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, system engineers, and product managers.* Participate in the creation of technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.* Support the manufacturing and production teams in resolving hardware-related issues.* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field.* Solid understanding of digital and analog circuit design.* Familiarity with any of the PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, ORCAD etc).* Basic knowledge of embedded systems and microcontroller programming.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Qualifications:* Internship or project experience in hardware design and development.* Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.* Understanding of industry standards and protocols (e.g., PCIe, USB, Ethernet).* Some experience with simulation and modeling tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB).Additional Information: Personal Attributes:* Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.* Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Enthusiastic and proactive attitude towards problem-solving.Application Requirements:* Updated resume highlighting relevant coursework, projects, and experience.* Cover letter explaining your interest in hardware engineering and why you are a good fit for this position.* Any relevant certifications or completed courses.
