Company Description Shine Logistics is a California-based third-party logistics company specializing in reliable freight brokerage services across North America.
Role Description Prior Experience in Freight Brokerage and a current book of business is required.
This is a full-time, remote Freight Broker role responsible for managing and coordinating freight movements between shippers and carriers throughout North America. The Freight Broker will prospect and onboard new customers, negotiate rates, build carrier relationships, and ensure loads are covered and tracked from pickup to delivery. Daily activities include quoting shipments, entering and updating load information in transportation management systems, monitoring in-transit freight, and proactively resolving service issues or delays. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring regulatory and safety compliance, and collaborating closely with internal teams to optimize routes, costs, and service performance. The successful candidate will consistently deliver responsive communication and customer-focused solutions while working independently in a remote environment.
Qualifications
- Freight brokerage and logistics operations skills, including experience with load matching, route planning, and carrier management.
- Sales and customer relationship skills, such as prospecting, rate negotiation, account management, and client retention.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain logistics solutions clearly, handle conflict professionally, and provide timely updates to customers and carriers.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple shipments and tasks.
- Relevant experience in freight brokerage, transportation, or logistics; prior North American trucking or 3PL experience is required
