About The Role
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Support Representatives to join our team supporting a US healthcare client. This role involves managing interactions with patients and healthcare providers through voice and non-voice channels, ensuring that all communications adhere strictly to US healthcare compliance standards, including HIPAA privacy regulations. The ideal candidate will possess prior healthcare claims experience and demonstrate a strong understanding of healthcare terminology and processes.
The position offers an excellent opportunity to work remotely, providing flexibility and the chance to contribute meaningfully to healthcare customer support. Candidates must be willing to work night shifts aligned with US business hours, specifically between 6:00 PM IST and 6:00 AM IST, ensuring seamless support for our US-based clients.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in US healthcare customer support, particularly with healthcare claims.
- Fluency in spoken and written English, with excellent communication skills.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and data privacy standards.
- Must possess a Windows 11 laptop with high-speed, stable internet connectivity.
- Quiet, professional home workspace conducive to confidential healthcare support.
- Willingness to work night shifts between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM IST.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions via calls, emails, or chat channels, providing accurate and timely information related to healthcare appointments, billing, insurance, and general healthcare queries.
- Verify customer identities meticulously before sharing any sensitive information, ensuring compliance with privacy standards.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all interactions within the system, adhering to company protocols.
- Escalate complex issues or unresolved queries to the appropriate departments following established procedures.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and other relevant healthcare data privacy regulations at all times.
- Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and a customer-focused attitude in every interaction, fostering trust and satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives to stay updated on healthcare policies and processes.
