Job Function

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

 

  • Inspect incoming, in‑process, and finished products and materials
  • Perform destructive testing, including OES chemistry analysis, tensile testing, and hardness testing
  • Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments and advanced inspection systems
  • Collaborate closely with production teams to maintain quality and ensure compliance
  • Record test data, maintain inspection logs, and generate detailed quality reports
  • Review and interpret product specifications to perform accurate and compliant quality checks
  • Document Nonconforming Material Reports for any nonconforming product

Follow established Quality Procedures, safety guidelines, and material standards

 


Required Skills

 Qualifications:

 

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and adherence to quality standards are paramount. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards through various inspection methods.

 

  • Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow
  • Experience performing destructive material testing
  • Strong knowledge of inspection methods, quality standards, and manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools and advanced inspection systems
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and product specifications
  • GD&T knowledge is a plus
  • Quality inspection: 3 years (Required).

 

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8-hour shift (M-F, with potential for overtime)

Work Location: In person with ability to commute to Cleveland, OH 44130
