Job Title: Release Engineer
Location: Remote/Hyderabad (While this role is remote, the client requires candidates to be based in Hyderabad)
Schedule: Shift Option #1: 10PM to 6AM IST (Monday to Friday) OR Shift Option #2: 2AM to 10AM IST (Tuesday to Saturday)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the production release process (~2,000 releases annually)
- Build and deploy applications and initiate deployment pipelines
- Create and track releases in Jira
- Communicate planned outages and ensure proper approvals/resources are in place
- Coordinate production implementations and release schedules
Required Experience
- 5+ years in Release Management or Application Deployment
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Azure environments
- Experience managing releases in Jira and coordinating production changes
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in enterprise environments
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience supporting Asset Management, Investment Management, or Financial Services (FSO) organizations.
