Job Summary**
The Relationship Officer - LAP is responsible for sourcing, acquiring, and managing a portfolio of Loan Against Property (LAP) customers. This role involves building strong client relationships, understanding their financial needs, and offering suitable LAP products to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities**
- Identify and acquire new LAP clients through various channels, including networking, referrals, and market outreach activities.
- Conduct thorough financial needs analysis for potential and existing clients to recommend appropriate LAP products and solutions.
- Prepare and submit complete and accurate loan applications, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of LAP customers, maintaining regular contact to assess their evolving needs and provide ongoing support.
- Monitor portfolio quality, proactively addressing any potential risks or delinquencies and ensuring timely collections.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets for LAP products.
- Collaborate with internal teams (credit, operations, legal) to ensure smooth processing and disbursal of loans.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes pertaining to LAP products.
- Provide excellent customer service and build long-term, trust-based relationships with clients.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, client interactions, and market feedback.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales or relationship management within the financial services industry, specifically with exposure to Loan Against Property (LAP) products.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships effectively.
- Strong understanding of LAP products, credit assessment, and property valuation principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Results-oriented with a strong drive to succeed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of local market dynamics and real estate trends is an advantage.
