Job Summary**
The Relationship Officer - LAP is responsible for sourcing, acquiring, and managing Loan Against Property (LAP) clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and contributing to the company's lending portfolio growth. This role involves building strong client relationships, assessing financial needs, and facilitating the smooth processing of LAP applications.
Job Responsibilities**
- Source new LAP clients through various channels, including direct sales, referrals, and networking events.
- Conduct thorough financial needs analysis for potential clients to identify suitable LAP products and solutions.
- Explain LAP product features, benefits, and terms clearly and accurately to clients.
- Assist clients in completing application forms and gathering necessary documentation for loan processing.
- Coordinate with credit and operations teams to ensure timely and efficient processing of LAP applications.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support and addressing their queries or concerns.
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify potential risks or opportunities for cross-selling other financial products.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the LAP business.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes pertaining to LAP products.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, client interactions, and portfolio status.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 2-4 years) in sales or relationship management within the financial services industry, with a focus on Loan Against Property (LAP).
- Strong understanding of LAP products, credit assessment processes, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and strong ethical conduct.
