Role Description The Relationship Manager – Sales will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients, with a focus on acquiring new customers and deepening relationships with existing ones. This full-time, on-site role based in Rajkot involves understanding client financial needs, recommending suitable investment and financial products, and ensuring a high-quality advisory and service experience. The role includes regular client meetings, follow-ups, and cross-selling relevant products such as mutual funds, insurance, equity, and other investment solutions. The Relationship Manager will coordinate with internal teams for account setup, transactions, and issue resolution, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines. The position also requires tracking sales targets, preparing periodic reports, and contributing to local business development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship management skills, including the ability to build trust, understand client needs, and provide personalized financial solutions.
- Sales and business development capabilities, with experience in prospecting, converting leads, and achieving revenue and acquisition targets.
- Knowledge of financial markets and products such as equities, mutual funds, insurance, AIFs, and other investment instruments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in presenting complex financial concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with strong time management, organizational, and follow-up skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., NISM, IRDA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in retail or wealth sales, brokerage, banking, or financial services is preferred.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, regulatory compliance, and maintaining high standards of integrity in all client interactions.
