Role Description The Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customer, and corporate segments, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction. The Relationship Manager will engage with clients to understand their financial needs, recommend suitable products, and support them through the application and onboarding process. Day-to-day responsibilities include regular client meetings, follow-ups on leads, coordinating with internal teams for approvals and documentation, and monitoring account performance and repayment behavior. The role also involves identifying cross-selling opportunities, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and adhering to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Strong customer relationship management and client servicing skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term partnerships.
- Sales and business development abilities, including lead generation, cross-selling, and achieving financial product targets.
- Knowledge of financial products and services such as mutual funds, PMS and AIF
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess customer needs, evaluate creditworthiness at a basic level, and recommend suitable solutions.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in English and local languages being an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including maintaining accurate documentation and CRM records.
- Ability to work on-site with internal teams, follow regulatory and company compliance guidelines, and adapt to a dynamic, target-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; prior experience in banking or financial services relationship management is preferred.
