Role Description The Relationship Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Morbi. The role involves identifying and acquiring new customers for home loans and loans against property, as well as managing and growing relationships with existing customers. Responsibilities include conducting customer meetings, explaining products and eligibility, assisting with documentation, and coordinating with credit, operations, and collections teams to ensure smooth processing and post-disbursement support. The Relationship Manager is expected to achieve sales targets, maintain accurate records of leads and customer interactions, and represent the organization professionally within the local market. The role also includes regular field visits, market mapping, and participation in branch-level activities to support business growth.
Qualifications
- Strong customer relationship management, sales, and negotiation skills relevant to retail lending.
- Ability to conduct field visits, generate leads, and understand local market dynamics.
- Competence in basic financial analysis, documentation review, and customer eligibility assessment.
- Effective communication skills in relevant local languages and English, with clear and professional interpersonal skills.
- Comfort with using computers and basic MS Office applications; experience with loan management or CRM systems is an advantage.
- Prior experience in housing finance, NBFCs, microfinance, or retail banking is preferred.
- Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree in any discipline; a background in finance, business, or commerce is beneficial.
- Ability to work in the field, collaborate with branch teams, and uphold high standards of integrity and compliance.
