Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Manager – B2B Commercial Insurance to drive business growth across commercial insurance products including Fire Insurance, Marine Insurance, Engineering Insurance, and Workmen Compensation (WC) policies. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing corporate client relationships, coordinating with insurers for quotations and policy issuance, and achieving revenue targets through strategic sales initiatives.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to work in a target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate and develop new B2B business opportunities for Commercial Insurance products including Fire, Marine, Engineering, and WC policies.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, SMEs, channel partners, and key decision-makers.
* Understand client risk profiles and provide suitable insurance solutions based on business requirements.
* Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations, negotiations, policy issuance, renewals, and endorsements.
* Prepare proposals, presentations, and client pitches for commercial insurance offerings.
* Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
* Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure and post-sales servicing.
* Work closely with operations and claims teams to ensure smooth onboarding and servicing of clients.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
* Maintain accurate sales pipelines, MIS reports, and client records.
* Ensure timely renewals and retention of existing corporate accounts.
* Participate in client meetings, risk inspections, and business discussions as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Prior experience in B2B Commercial Insurance sales preferred.
* Strong knowledge of Fire, Marine, Engineering, and Workmen Compensation insurance products.
* Excellent corporate sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
* Ability to understand business risks and provide customized insurance solutions.
* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated and target-oriented approach.
* Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/reporting tools.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
* Existing corporate or SME client network will be an added advantage.
* Knowledge of insurer underwriting processes and commercial policy structures preferred.
