Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area at Planner9 Insurance Marketing Pvt. Ltd. The Relationship Manager will build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, serving as a primary point of contact for insurance-related queries and service requests. Responsibilities include understanding client insurance needs, presenting suitable products, explaining policy features, and supporting clients through the onboarding and documentation process. The role involves regular follow-ups, managing renewals, addressing service issues, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely resolution and high client satisfaction. The Relationship Manager will also identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, prepare basic reports on client interactions and sales activities, and participate in periodic reviews and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and handle client concerns professionally.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident in-person interaction.
- Basic sales and negotiation abilities, with comfort in explaining products, handling objections, and closing opportunities ethically.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple client accounts, follow-ups, and documentation efficiently.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, spreadsheets, email, and other standard office software to track leads, interactions, and policy information.
- Understanding of or interest in insurance and financial products; prior experience in insurance, finance, or banking is an advantage.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline; relevant certifications in insurance or financial services are a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
