Role Description The Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jamshedpur. This position is responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with sellers on the marketplace platform. Daily tasks include onboarding and guiding new vendors, addressing queries and concerns, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring timely resolution of issues. The Relationship Manager collaborates with internal teams to improve service quality, optimize processes, and support marketing or promotional activities. The role also involves gathering feedback, identifying growth opportunities, and maintaining accurate records and reports to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Merchant relationship and account management skills, including the ability to build trust, handle escalations, and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in clear written and verbal communication and active listening.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce operations, marketplace dynamics, and vendor management processes.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data, identify trends, and propose practical solutions.
- Comfort with using digital tools and platforms, including CRM systems, spreadsheets, and collaboration software.
- Ability to work on-site in Jamshedpur, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Prior experience in any job profile which involves establishing and maintaining relationships with a retail merchant will be an advantage
