Role Description The Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ariyalur, Sendurai and Jayankondam responsible for managing and growing relationships with rural customers. The role involves regularly meeting customers, understanding their financial needs, and recommending appropriate savings, credit, insurance, and investment products. The Relationship Manager will handle customer onboarding, documentation, and account servicing, while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The role includes monitoring loan utilization and repayment, supporting collections where required, and maintaining accurate records and reports. The Relationship Manager will collaborate with branch teams, participate in local outreach activities, and contribute to achieving branch-level business and quality targets.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong customer relationship and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and effectively with rural households and small businesses.
- Candidates should possess basic financial knowledge and the ability to explain loans, credit, and insurance products in simple terms.
- Candidates should possess good communication skills in local language and functional proficiency in English, along with clear and professional verbal and written communication.
- Candidates should possess field operations and time-management skills, including the ability to work on the ground, travel locally, and manage multiple customer visits and tasks each day.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving and decision-making skills, with attention to detail in documentation, record-keeping, and compliance.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, business, or a related field are preferred; experience in NBFCs, microfinance, or rural banking will be an added advantage.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (smartphone apps, MS Office, core banking systems) and willingness to learn new technology platforms is beneficial.
