Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in New Delhi. The Relationship Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with individual and institutional investors, distributors, and key channel partners to drive growth for Axis Mutual Fund. Responsibilities include understanding client investment needs, explaining mutual fund products and solutions, and supporting clients in aligning their portfolios with long-term financial goals while adhering to regulatory guidelines. The role involves regular client meetings, responding to queries, coordinating with internal teams for seamless service delivery, and tracking client activity and feedback. The Relationship Manager will also help organize and participate in investor education initiatives, events, and campaigns to enhance brand visibility and investor engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship management skills, including stakeholder engagement, customer service, and account management capabilities.
- Solid understanding of mutual funds, capital markets, and investment products, with the ability to explain concepts in a clear and compliant manner.
- Proficiency in communication and presentation, including the ability to conduct meetings, investor interactions, and product discussions with diverse audiences.
- Basic analytical and numerical skills to interpret portfolio reports, track performance, and support clients in making informed decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, operations, and investment teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing servicing of clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related field; a relevant professional certification (such as NISM Series V-A or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in financial services, wealth management, distribution, or mutual fund relationship roles will be highly beneficial.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, office productivity software, and digital platforms for client communication and reporting.
