Role Description The Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ranchi, responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with customers, partners, and intermediaries. Day-to-day activities include engaging with existing and prospective policyholders, explaining health insurance products and wellness offerings, and ensuring a smooth onboarding and servicing experience. The role involves managing customer queries and issues, coordinating with internal teams for policy issuance, claims support, renewals, and endorsements, and promoting ABHICL’s wellness and chronic care programs. The Relationship Manager will track individual and branch-level targets, support local marketing and outreach initiatives, and provide regular feedback from customers to help improve products and processes.
Qualifications
- Strong customer relationship management and client servicing skills, with the ability to build trust and sustain long-term engagement.
- Proficiency in sales and business development activities, including lead generation, product presentation, and conversion in the insurance or financial services domain.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex health insurance concepts in clear, simple language.
- Good organizational and coordination abilities to manage multiple customer accounts, documentation, and follow-ups efficiently.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and CRM systems, and willingness to work with digitized processes and wellness platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in business, finance, or healthcare-related fields is an advantage.
- Prior experience in health insurance, banking, financial services, or healthcare sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work on-site in Ranchi, meet performance targets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
