Role Description
The Relationship Manager - Agri Business will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships while managing the agricultural loan portfolio. Key responsibilities include identifying business opportunities, sourcing and evaluating loan applications, managing customer queries, and ensuring timely disbursement and recovery of loans. The role also involves providing financial advisory services and ensuring compliance with the Bank’s policies and regulatory requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Guwahati.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and understanding of agricultural finance and lending processes
- Exceptional client relationship management, networking, and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze financial statements, evaluate creditworthiness, and manage loan portfolios
- Proficiency in problem-solving, communication, and teamwork
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, compliance standards, and market trends in agricultural finance
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Experience in agricultural banking, lending, or financial services is strongly preferred
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Assamese is an advantage
- High ethical standards, attention to detail, and a customer-first approach
