Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven Relationship Executive to expand Vibrant’s footprint in the global market. This role requires a candidate who is proactive in reaching out to professors, schools, tutors, and educational institutions, to sell Vibrant’s books. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales within the education publishing industry or a similar industry and will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing relationships, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Proactively reach out to potential leads including professors, schools, and tutors worldwide to introduce Vibrant's books. This will involve cold calling, emailing, and utilizing social media platforms (LinkedIn, etc.) to generate new business.
- Sales Funnel Management: Own the sales funnel from prospecting to closing. Efficiently manage leads through Zoho or a similar CRM tool, ensuring a steady progression from initial contact to sale.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers in academic institutions and tutoring services, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain deep knowledge of Vibrant’s product catalog, understanding key selling points and how each book aligns with specific course needs.
- Sales Automation: Utilize sales automation tools for email campaigns, follow-ups, and reminders to ensure a streamlined approach to the sales process. This may involve using Zoho or similar platforms to optimize workflows.
- Negotiation & Closing: Act as the point of contact for negotiations, ensuring sales targets are met while aligning product offerings to the customer’s needs.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to tailor sales pitches and messaging, aligning with the company’s overall strategy.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience: At least 2-4 years of sales experience, preferably in the education or publishing sector (books, digital content, or academic services).
- Sales Funnel: Proven ability to manage and track leads, from prospecting to closing, with a solid understanding of the sales funnel.
- CRM Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Zoho CRM or similar lead management tools for tracking sales pipelines and customer interactions.
- Automation Skills: Comfortable using automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks such as follow-ups, reminders, and campaign management.
- Self-Driven: Highly motivated to drive sales independently. The candidate must be comfortable working with minimal supervision and taking the initiative to reach out to new leads.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be confident in reaching out to potential leads, providing product information, and handling objections.
- Passion for Education: A genuine interest in education and a passion for helping students, educators, and academic institutions benefit from Vibrant’s books.
- Location: Mumbai-based role with potential for periodic travel to meet clients or attend events.
Salary Range: ₹4,00,000 – ₹5,00,000 per annum (based on experience and skills).
Variable Pay: In addition to the base salary, the role includes a performance-based incentive structure, offering a potential variable component of up to ₹2,00,000 per annum.
