What you'll own?
As Carnelian grows its presence across product lines and regions, we're strengthening the sales & business development team that carries this story forward. We are looking for young talent who are genuinely passionate about the investment landscape and can build conviction around what we do. If you want to make a career in this industry and feel ready to own a larger outcome, this is the opportunity to:
- Drive new client and distributor acquisition across bank, wealth, and IFA channels, with a clear focus on AIF and PMS mandates.
- Nurture and deepen existing relationships with wealth partners and end investors — be the person they call first.
- Identify, engage, and empanel new distribution partners who align with Carnelian's investment philosophy.
- Work closely with the investments, marketing, and product teams to bring the Carnelian story to the right audiences.
- Own your pipeline end-to-end, from first conversation to onboarding and beyond.
What will make you a good fit?
You bring with you:
- 0-2 years of experience with good academic track record preferred with a bachelor’s degree in financial markets or equivalent qualification.
- Having a NISM certification in AIF / PMS or a CA inter qualification would be a plus.
- Solid communication skills to converse and engage in English and preferably in one or more local language. (Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telegu, Bengali, Malayalam)
- MUST BE Passionate about markets and can hold an intelligent conversation about equities, macro, and portfolios.
- Strong commercial instinct and ownership mindset, owning each step of the relationship.
- Self-driven, agile, quick to understand context and own outcomes.
- Client-first mindset, even when it's inconvenient,
- First-principles thinking while dealing with every problem
- Collaborative nature & Openness to feedback.
