Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relations Manager role based in Rewari. The Relations Manager will manage and grow relationships with existing and potential MSME and institutional clients, understanding their financing needs and recommending appropriate loan products. The role involves regular client meetings, handling inquiries, coordinating documentation, and ensuring a smooth end-to-end customer journey. The Relations Manager will collaborate with credit, operations, and collections teams to support timely approvals, disbursals, and post-disbursal servicing. Responsibilities also include monitoring portfolio performance, resolving customer issues promptly, gathering market insights, and contributing to branch-level business development and compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship management and customer service skills, with the ability to build long-term, trust-based client partnerships.
- Proficiency in sales and business development within financial services or lending, preferably with MSME or secured loan products.
- Solid communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to explain financial products and manage client expectations effectively.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to understand client financials, assess basic risk indicators, and coordinate with credit teams.
- Good organizational skills, including pipeline management, follow-ups, documentation handling, and adherence to processes.
- Basic understanding of lending operations, KYC norms, and RBI/NBFC compliance requirements (prior NBFC/banking experience is an advantage).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; relevant postgraduate qualifications are beneficial.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and digital platforms for reporting and client tracking.
- Ability to work on-site in Rewari, conduct field visits as needed, and collaborate with cross-functional branch and regional teams.
- 2–5 years of experience in relationship management, sales, or branch banking/NBFC roles is preferred; strong early-career candidates will also be considered.
