About the role
We are extremely lean. We are a fully remote company with employees across 30+ states. We organize in-person get-togethers roughly once per quarter to hang out as a team. As part of this elite group, you'll take ownership of our iOS and watchOS applications. We're looking for someone with deep expertise in Apple platforms, a sharp analytical mind, and the drive to solve complex problems with clean and scalable code.
By directly building, maintaining, and scaling our most popular client platform (iOS), you will have immense impact on the trajectory of the company; as a result, you will have the opportunity to grow into an engineering or product leadership position.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
iOS/WatchOS Development: You will lead the development of new iOS and watchOS features and work with our QA engineer to maximize the testability and stability of our iOS application. Our app today uses mostly programmatic UIKit, but we build some features in SwiftUI as well (like our watch app).
Systems Engineering: As our codebase grows and our products become more complex, you will own the evolution of our iOS/WatchOS systems to ensure that we are managing our tech debt and staying on the cutting edge of mobile development.
