We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Reinsurance Manager to join our Ahmedabad office.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs):
• KYC & Contract Management• Renewals Handling• Preparation of RFQs• Follow-ups with Insured / Insurers / Reinsurers• Quote Comparisons• Placement of Policies• Client Submissions & Approval Coordination• Policy / Certificate Audit• Ensuring Debit Notes & Timely Payments to Cedants• PR & MIS Updates• Coordination with Accounts Team• Arron Receivables Follow-up• Checklist & Record Maintenance• Tracking of PPW• EB Data Verification & Quarterly Meetings with Clients and Insurers• Handling Operational Queries
Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills to assess risks, design strategies, and evaluate insurance data effectively.
In-depth knowledge and experience in insurance and underwriting practices.
Understanding of finance and accounting principles relevant to the insurance and reinsurance industries.
Proven ability to communicate and negotiate with clients, insurers, and reinsurers.
Proficiency in insurance-related software tools and technology is a plus.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a relevant field is preferred.
Prior experience in reinsurance or related roles is highly desirable.
