Summary

The IT Support Specialist, under the direct supervision of the IT Manager, shall have responsibility for maintaining function within the company’s internal computer systems, including hook-up, diagnosis of problems, and installation or replacement of computer hardware and/or software.

Resposibilities:

  • Provides skilled troubleshooting, diagnosis and resolution of problems related to information systems
  • Maintains an accurate inventory and record of all company equipment
  • Installs new hardware, and other items needed for networks, desktops, etc.
  • Logs, assigns, and responds to Help Desk tickets in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintains detailed notes of common issues, resolutions, and follow up information
  • Notifies company of disruptions to normal service delivery
  • Assists in coordinating movement of equipment
  • Produces details on Help Desk activity for reporting purposes

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma
