Fermentis Lifesciences (FLS) is a leading contract manufacturing partner for the Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, and health and wellness industries. We specialize in end-to-end manufacturing of gummies, nutrition bars, powders, capsules, tablets, liquids, and softgels, catering to private-label and custom-formulation requirements.
Job Role & Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end FSSAI (FoSCoS) portal operations – applications, modifications, renewals, and tracking.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI and Ayurveda regulations for food, nutraceutical, and Ayurvedic products.
- Review product labels, artwork, and claims as per applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Verify ingredient declarations, formulations, nutrition information panels, and Legal Metrology requirements.
- Prepare and maintain regulatory documentation for licenses, certifications, and audits.
- Coordinate with internal teams (QA, R&D, Packaging, Production, Marketing) for regulatory compliance.
- Liaise with consultants, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities when required.
- Support internal, customer, and third-party audits and ensure timely compliance closure.
- Maintain regulatory trackers, audit records, and compliance databases.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in food/nutraceutical / Ayurveda regulatory compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of FSSAI and Ayurveda regulations.
- Experience with labeling, claims review, and audits.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.
