Regulatory & Quality Professional – E-commerce
RK World Infocom Pvt. Ltd., a preferred and one of the prime sellers on Amazon, is looking for an experienced Regulatory & Quality Professional to independently manage regulatory compliance, quality, product testing, artwork compliance, inspections, and regulatory filings across multiple product categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end regulatory and quality compliance for food, cosmetics, electrical household products, pharmaceuticals, Ayurvedic products, drugs, and medical devices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards including FSSAI, BIS, CDSCO, CPCB, and other relevant authorities.
- Review and manage product artwork, labeling, packaging, claims, and regulatory declarations for compliance.
- Handle regulatory filings, product registrations, licenses, approvals, and documentation across relevant categories.
- Develop and manage product testing protocols, coordinate testing requirements, evaluate test reports, and resolve compliance gaps.
- Manage regulatory inspections, quality issues, inspection bottlenecks, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action), and closure of observations.
- Identify both short-term corrective actions and long-term sustainable solutions to improve product quality while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Conduct regulatory research and interpret complex regulations, standards, notifications, and guidelines into simple, actionable business requirements.
- Guide internal teams and stakeholders on regulatory requirements and help them take fast, practical, and compliant decisions.
- Independently manage projects and deliverables end-to-end with minimal supervision.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, manufacturers, testing laboratories, and other external partners.
- Use data analysis and regulatory research to identify trends, risks, compliance gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
Ideal Candidate
- 3–4+ years of relevant experience in regulatory affairs, quality, compliance, product testing, or a related function.
- Educational background in Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of FSSAI, BIS, CDSCO, CPCB and applicable product-specific regulations.
- Good understanding of electrical household products, cosmetics, food, drugs/pharmaceuticals, Ayurvedic products, and medical devices.
- Strong experience in quality management, artwork/label compliance, inspections, CAPA, testing, and regulatory documentation.
- Excellent research, data analysis, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to understand complex regulatory terminology and translate it into clear, practical instructions for business teams.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and manage responsibilities end-to-end.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment where priorities can change quickly and decisions need to be made efficiently.
- Ability to balance regulatory compliance, product quality, business requirements, timelines, and cost considerations.
What We’re Looking For
This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role suited to someone who can take complete ownership of regulatory and quality matters. The ideal candidate should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, identifying compliance risks, solving inspection and quality bottlenecks, and independently driving issues through to closure.
