About the Role
DBS Global University is seeking an accomplished, visionary, and transformation-driven professional for the position of Registrar to lead institutional administration, governance, compliance, and operational excellence across the University ecosystem.
The role requires a highly experienced leader with deep exposure to university administration, regulatory compliance, academic governance, institutional transformation, and stakeholder management. The Registrar will play a strategic role in strengthening systems, processes, policy implementation, and operational effectiveness aligned with the University’s growth vision.
Key Responsibilities
University Administration & Governance
- Lead and oversee the overall administrative functioning of the University.
- Ensure effective implementation of University statutes, ordinances, regulations, and policies.
- Support the Vice Chancellor and senior leadership in institutional governance and strategic execution.
- Coordinate with statutory bodies, committees, and governing authorities.
Policy, Documentation & Records Management
- Oversee institutional documentation, records management, statutory registers, and official correspondence.
- Ensure robust policy implementation and administrative control mechanisms.
- Monitor institutional risk areas and recommend corrective actions.
Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation
- Ensure adherence to all applicable higher education compliance requirements related to:
- UGC
- AICTE
- NAAC
- Regulatory and statutory bodies
- Drive institutional readiness for audits, inspections, accreditation processes, and compliance reporting.
- Maintain strong governance frameworks and documentation standards.
Institutional Transformation & Process Excellence
- Lead transformation initiatives to strengthen operational efficiency, digitization, automation, and governance processes.
- Drive modernization of administrative systems, workflow management, and policy implementation.
- Enable process improvements across academic and administrative functions.
- Development of SOPs and policies.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Deans, Directors, HoDs, faculty, and administrative teams.
- Ensure smooth coordination across departments for institutional effectiveness.
- Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, and operational discipline.
Academic Administration Support
- Support academic operations, examination governance, convocations, board meetings, and institutional events.
- Facilitate seamless coordination between academic and administrative functions.

- Handled BCI / BCI / INC / NAAC / NBA / UGC Inspections & Audits, NEP Execution
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to work closely with senior leadership and drive institution-wide initiatives.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and operational maturity.
Qualification & Experience
- Master’s Degree with excellent academic credentials.
- Ph.D. preferred.
- Significant experience in higher education administration at senior leadership level.
- Experience in reputed universities/institutions will be preferred.
