Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Pharmacist based in Ahmedabad. The primary responsibilities include reviewing and dispensing medications accurately, maintaining patient records for dispensed drugs, verifying prescriptions, and offering counseling on proper medication usage and potential side effects. The pharmacist will collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective patient care and compliance with regulatory standards concerning the handling and storage of medications.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in reviewing prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and ensuring compliance with medical standards and regulations
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate patient records and managing medication inventories
- Ability to counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects
- Knowledge of drug interactions and experience in collaborating with healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Valid pharmacist licensure and a degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or M.Pharm) from a recognized institution
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying updated on pharmaceutical advancements and regulatory requirements
