Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role based in Indore. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions in coordination with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards. The nurse will educate patients and families on treatment plans, post-discharge care, and health promotion. The role also involves participating in clinical rounds, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and contributing to quality improvement and infection control initiatives within the hospital.
Qualifications
- Current, valid nursing registration/license (Registered Nurse) with the appropriate nursing council, and completion of a recognized nursing program (B.Sc Nursing, GNM, or equivalent).
- Proven clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, and monitoring of vital signs.
- Strong knowledge of hospital protocols, infection prevention and control practices, and basic life support (BLS); advanced life support (ACLS) is an advantage.
- Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation, including electronic or paper medical records, care plans, and nursing notes.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members in a respectful, culturally sensitive manner.
- Capacity to manage multiple patients, prioritize tasks, and respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies or changes in patient conditions.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by hospital operations.
- Experience in biotechnology-driven or tertiary-care hospital settings is preferred but not mandatory; openness to training and continuous professional development is expected.
