Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role based in Belgaum. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessment, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures in accordance with clinical protocols. Responsibilities include documenting patient information accurately, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and supporting the development and implementation of patient care plans. The role involves educating patients and families about treatment, recovery, and ongoing care, while maintaining strict infection control and safety standards. The Registered Nurse will also participate in quality improvement activities, follow hospital policies, and support a collaborative, respectful care environment.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing qualification (e.g., Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing) and current registration with the relevant nursing council.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and monitoring of vital signs.
- Strong knowledge of nursing best practices, infection control protocols, and hospital safety procedures.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage time efficiently, handle multiple patients, and remain calm in high-pressure or emergency situations.
- Basic proficiency in medical documentation and use of hospital information systems or electronic health records.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by patient care needs.
- Prior experience in hospital or clinical settings is preferred; experience in multidisciplinary environments is an advantage.
