The Role
ControlZ is hiring state-level Distribution Heads to build and own our smartphone distribution network from the ground up. You will appoint distributors, run D2R where needed, activate dealers, and drive sell-through across your state.
What You'll Do
- Map territory and appoint distributors / super distributors across key districts
- Run D2R (Direct to Retailer) in markets where direct is more efficient
- Drive primary billing and secondary offtake across the channel
- Onboard and manage dealers — multi-outlet groups and strong local retailers preferred
- Execute trade schemes (ADS, billing slabs, incentive programs)
- Build and manage a field team (ASMs + TSIs) as territory scales
- Minimum 20 days/month in-market — this is a field role
Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years in smartphone or telecom distribution — non-negotiable
- Prior experience at Samsung, OPPO, vivo, Xiaomi, Realme, OnePlus, or similar handset brands strongly preferred
- Proven track record of appointing distributors and building dealer networks in a Hindi-belt state
- Hands-on experience with both D2R and distributor-fed route-to-market models
- Existing trade relationships in the state — distributors and dealer groups — a strong advantage
- Hindi fluency mandatory
